Who: Boys aged between 8 and 9 years old
 

What: The ICC Academy U9’s Warriors will help players to extend their understanding of cricket in order to transition from softball to hardball cricket.

How: The ICC Academy U9’s will play, explore and experiment with game-related skills and concepts including transitioning from soft ball to hard ball cricket. The ADIB U9’s will also be trained upon the following:

• Batting: Striking deliveries full and short showing positive intent, Introducing calling between wickets, learning to defend OR attack, decision making.
• Bowling: Progression of bowling mechanics, consistency of line and length, transferring momentum.
• Fielding: Progressive fielding and fitness fundamentals, throwing short and long with correct technique, attacking the ball and catching low and high combined with agility, balance, coordination and speed.
• Tactics: Understanding of game based tactics for individual disciplines (Batting, Bowling & Fielding).
• Discipline: Punctuality, Dress code & Game prep.
   

Development Phase: Sampling.
 

Games: Internal Festival & External Games (Softball/Hardball).
